Cemetery Association Award

The Fayette County Cemetery Association was awarded a $500 grant to purchase three new trimmers toward their effort to upkeep local cemeteries.  String trimmers are essential to cemetery maintenance because they are portable, allowing maintenance of hard-to-reach sites, and because they are minimally abrasive to the softer stone used in most pioneer cemeteries. Pictured are members of the Association and County Commissioner Letoa King.
