Carbon Motors is Coming to Connersville!
A Rally for American Jobs was held at the Visteon plant on Wednesday, July 29 with special guest Governor Mitch Daniels and several Carbon Motors officials.  Riding shotgun in the world’s first purpose-built patrol vehicle, the Carbon E7, William Santan Li, Chief Executive of Carbon Motors Corporation, announced that the State of Indiana, Fayette County, and the City of Connersville would be its new home.

Cheers from the crowd of over 5,000 citizens roared as the long awaited announcement was made.

“We are thrilled at the possibilities that Carbon Motors represents and, I’ll be honest, especially at their selection of Connersville for the factory they hope to build. This company, in this former capital of American manufacturing, would make a tremendous symbol of economic rebirth and Hoosier leadership in it,” said Governor Mitch Daniels.
