Cheyenna Henry Selected for 2017 Matt Howard Outstanding Achievement Award

Cheyenna Henry was recently named the 2016 recipient of the Matt Howard Outstanding Achievement Award.  Cheyenna is the daughter of Stuart and Carrie Henry of Connersville. She plans to attend the University of Evansville to pursue a degree in athletic training.

Matt Howard graduated from Connersville High School in 2007 and went on to successfully earn a bachelors degree from Butler University.  While at Butler, Matt helped lead the bulldogs to the NCAA Final Four twice.  Since graduating from Butler, Matt has traveled throughout Europe playing power forward for the Neckar L’burg, Roanne, and Ratiopharm.

The Matt Howard Outstanding Achievement Award is an endowment at the Foundation. It supports a student athlete who has exemplified leadership, sportsmanship, and the value of education. The nominee must maintain an average GPA of 3.7, have an outstanding performance on the court or playing field, and be a CHS senior.
