Guttmans Support Corner Store
Dick and Joanne Guttman have for years supported various organizations that provide food to hungry people. In 2015, the Guttmans created an endowment to focus their support on local organizations helping people who suffer with food insecurity. This year the Guttman’s endowment awarded its inaugural grant to the CHS Corner Store. The Corner Store is open to high school students and their families.
This grant was made possible by the Guttman’s donor advised endowment. Donor advised endowments offer the donor the opportunity to be actively involved in the advisory capacity for distributions from this fund. As income becomes available for distributions, the donor-advisor recommends to the Foundation’s Directors grants that meet their charitable interests. Donor advised endowments are one of the many giving opportunities offered by the Foundation. Give us a call today to learn more at 827-9966.
